Similar to the artist Thomas Demand but in a more poetic way, artist Paolo Ventura constructs small dioramas which he then photographs. The strong narrative content is impressing!

This last week was really unexpected exhausting, a lot of 'Re-Do's', several technical breakdowns (3 days no internetconnection again) and so on. For this reason, I'll hope next week will be GREAT! Anyway, I found some great projects for you. Let's start with Rob Bailey, he is a Freelance Artist, Illustrator and Designer who lives and works in Manchester, England. Love his individual geometric style.

How wonderful is the work of Katrin Rodegast (assistent by Sarah Illenberger)! Soft cover is a contemporary quilt, coated with a pattern of 270 illustrations observing the social reality. I'm not a big Quilt lover, but this transformation made me look!

Scheltens & Abbenes are the sum total of a still-life photographer and the creative craftsmanship of an artist. They create commissioned photographs for cultural institutions and large companies like Vitra, Hermes, COS and Viktor & Rolf and editorials for magazines for example Wallpaper and New York Times Style magazine. Like it!

Today is wonderful : sunny weather, long sleep, doing nothing, strolling through the internet..... Priya Kambli, indian artist who lives in US, describes her work with this words: my photographs visually express the notion of transience and split cultural identity caused by the act of migration. Sorry for the silence on this blog... My start in Switzerland was not so easy... I've had a bad cold, (yeap, catched in the airplane... catch as catch can) and the jetlag transformed my body in a tired inactive something! But now, I'm back!!
I found a great canadian artist, Todd Mc Lellan. Love the way how he analyse everyday products!
