Jaipur : Colors

It's hot in Jaipur, finally! The Indian people are so amusing, friendly and open minded. I had several interesting meetings, I'm tired but in a very good mood. The colors in India are so different to the colors in Switzerland. They add color more impulsive and in a really new way for me. I found color combinations they really impressed me!!

Delhi : Animals

I'm already on the way to the next meeting in Jaipur. Today I found wonderful old fabrics in a little street in Delhi. My fabric collection is still growing.... Yesterday morning I saw several cows, a wild pig family and a lot of baby dogs in the streets, yep, normal life!

Delhi : Republic Day

Yesterday was Republic Day in India, nobody worked... ;-) I walked through the Lodi Garden, it's a park with the Mogul graves. Wonderful mood, a lot of colors, great smells.... Real India feeling?!

Short trip Provence : La Bergerie de Féline

This weekend (starting tommorow :-) I'll make a girlfriend trip to Provence. I found a beautiful guesthouse via style files (by the way thank you!!)! Have a look! I think this is really a stroke of luck! I hope we'll find a lot of old vintage stuff around AIX! So, stay tuned!

SWEDEN : FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I have to tell you something about Sweden : MAKE A GREAT VISUAL IMPACT! (And Camilla, yes, the nordic light is really beautiful!!) I do not know a lot about the social conventions in Southsweden, but the wide open spaces, the colours and this amazing light, I would live here with immediate effect. To understand this feeling a little bit better... by comparison Sweden and Switzerland, Sweden is 10 times bigger than Switzerland, but the number of the habitants are in both countries the same....

Yesterday we went to the bar NIMB in Copenhagen for our last drink, the room is really nice, the ambiance is a little bit elitist and snobby, it's a pity.

LEAVING SWITZERLAND

Now we are leaving Switzerland for two weeks! Byebye Switzerland, Hello Sweden & Denmark!

anticipation2 : Sweden&Denmark

Then I found this genial hotel from the artist MIKAEL GENBERG  in VASAPARKEN Västerås in Sweden.
The hotel is called hotel HACKSPETT and is located 13 meters up in the biggest oaktree in the Wasapark. The hotel contains of a balcony, toilet(!), small kitchen (!!) and a bedroom with a bed for two persons. Season is from april to october. Sounds perfect!

Our roundtrip starts with the food festival EAT08 and the copenhagencooking 08 in Copenhagen! Regrettably I am unable to read the danish previews, so let's just wait and see!  

BEST BEHAVIOR : DANISH FASHION BRAND

 In a week i will have my well-earned holidays....We will make a roundtrip through Denmark & Sweden.
At the moment I am doing some kind of 'benchmarking'. I found this danish label BEST BEHAVIOR
and I am very anxious to have a real look in Kopenhagen! It looks very comfy and easy but also very stylish, particularly the trousers.
