I had a meeting with a lightplanner the other day, and he showed me the new LED lamp NOTHING from Francisco Gomez Paz. Nothing is a shadow that makes light, made of almost nothing. Like it!

Our family had the superflu for the last 2 weeks, fever, a heavy cold, cough and so on. Now we are back on track! Salone Mobile in Milano started this week, unfortunately I'm not there. I found this supersmart object while browsing the Liveblogs at Milano. Nick Ross, a student from Konstfack in Stockholm, presents this furniture in Milano, a bar with a hood for sharing secrets in crowded places. Genius!

Swedish Note Design Studio went deep into the forest to explore, measure and collect. After a long expedition, they now had plenty to look through back home. “Base Camp”; the simplistic materials and shapes of scientific field expedition tools adapted to stand wear and tear. Just like last year, they ended up with a diverse collection of colours, shapes, materials and expressions; just the way they (we) like it.

As a furniture designer myself, I think to design furniturelegs is something really difficult. It's similar to shoes, if you wear the perfect dress and crappy shoes, this kills the whole look. The idea of Prettypegs is to create a new way of personalising furniture from brands like IKEA. A set of Prettypegs simply adds colour and character to your furniture. And just like your favorite pair of shoes, they complete the look.

Doing the last set ups in our house like hooks, frames and so on, I found this creative brand Supafrank. The collection of interior products and illustrations is inspired by curiosities from nature. The few simple components can be constructed using just one tool to make up a stool, a hook, a light and a light pull. Smart way!

At the moment I'm planning my office storage furniture.... I've collected a lot of moods and inspiriatons here, but I can't help, I really love both of this shelves systems a lot: The Hay Woody serie and the Lap Shelving from Case furniture. Perfect individual storage systems, but I'm not sure, is it too trendy?
