At the moment I'm planning my office storage furniture.... I've collected a lot of moods and inspiriatons here, but I can't help, I really love both of this shelves systems a lot: The Hay Woody serie and the Lap Shelving from Case furniture. Perfect individual storage systems, but I'm not sure, is it too trendy?

That shelf is very minimalistic. But the danger there is it may dip in aesthetic appeal. Papers could get piled up high and wipe out your appreciation of the shelf.

The first will be more longlasting. The second is more of the moment it will be old pretty soon.

The second photo is the best so far, but it still seems a bit weak. Strength may be attained if the in between panels were colored black, or even darker; it would depend on your interior. But if you are too girly, painting the panels with bright colors like yellow can be a great accent of color puffs in your office; that would be very inspiring. =)
