After 2 days of relaxing, my energy pool is a little bit higher... Our tenant came back last week, one day earlier as communicated! Fortunately we had finished his rooms the night before... Now we miss this last day for all the little details, like take perfect pictures for documentation, mount all the wooden kicking plates and so on. So I have only one snapshot from the tenant kitchen with the lightblue Bisazza tiles, I hope to get more pictures soon. In the meantime I'm planning the next five weeks for finishing our part.
A week tommorow our tenant will be back.... But: All the floors are finished!! Yeah! The kitchen is mounted since three hours... I painted the last 5 square meters of the tenants fassade part. And, and and... ;-)
We worked the whole weekend to finish both floors, the wooden and the anhydrite floor. This week we have to apply the Bisazza tiles in the kitchen and the bathroom, paint the entrance and then we have to polish the complete flat.... btw, the pictures are not so perfect, just ignore....
So keep your fingers crossed for us!
New smoked oak floor, UV oiled in the familyspace. We cleaned the floor the first time after montage, (that's why the floor looks so glossy) afterwards we covered the floor with a strong cardboard for the coming wall works.
In the middle of the familyspace we have the change between the old existing to the new floor. In top of the picture you see the new smoked oak floor. Below is the existing american oak parquet with the new polish.
Attic floor: Flexible basis for the anydrite
Attic floor: anhydrite after sealing, unfortunately with the first plaster food steps... My name is Miss Cleaning every day since weeks... ;-(
Attic floor: detail picture, the color is like an espresso, with a 'breeze' rose in it. Yepp, we are in love! ;-)
To my pleaseant surprise, the charming girls from Mintdesign wrote a post about Madame Hervé and as a bonus my blog got a free one month ad in the sponsor section. How nice is this???!! This is like a superstrong energydose for me. Thank you so much!!!
Just a short update... We are in time, yes. We have no time to charge our batteries.... But the floor is in, looks absolutely great, I show you the pictures after the last sealing. Tommorow the tenant kitchen will be mounted, also our parquet in the new familyroom. Oh my....
So I share some nice finds with you, a little bit window shopping in the evening;-) Perhaps you know the shop ReForm. I can't remember where I saw this shop first. Really sweet stuff!
